These are some of the books I’m reading at the moment:

Sidewalk By Mitchell Duneier is about people who inhabit the sidewalks in and around Greenwich Village in New York City. I just started reading this book and it’s awesome to far!

In Plain Sight: Reflections on Life in Downtown Eastside Vancouver, Edited by Leslie Robertson and Dara Culhane is an amazing book (so far) that is written by using edited transcribed recordings from 7 women living in the downtown eastside of Vancouver.

Nuer Dilemmas: Coping with Money, War, and the State By Sharon E. Hutchinson is a comprehensive and very interesting look at Nuer life. I could go on for pages, but I wont. Read it!

Electoral Guerrilla Theatre: Radical ridicule and social movements by L. M. Bogad is a book about three different electoral guerrilla groups; The Kabouters (a group of anarchists in Amsterdam), Joan Jettblakk (a drag candidate in the United States (see cover)) and Pauline Pantsdown (A drag candidate in Australia). This is a really funny book. You should read this also.
